Bringing your product to life for people, just, it changes the game. (music) So, I was doing one of our, uh, one page Wednesday live calls yesterday. Um, for those of you that don’t know who that, or what that is, um, usually uh, not every Wednesday, but almost every Wednesday uh, either myself of me and Scott, my brother get on uh and we do a Facebook Live with, usually most of our one page funnel uh, master class customers. A lot of our Sam Card customers. Um, and then now we’re kind of opening ’em up to the public, so they’re usually uh, live over on my fan page.
Uh, and one of the things that we normally do, or what the main goal of those calls is to pick uh, one of the one page funnel master class customers pages. Um, someone who is either starting a new business or launching a new product and they’re trying to use our one page uh, strategy to actually start selling that product without needing uh, all the different bells and whistles that um, most marketing experts try to convince you that you need to start off, which is ludacris.
Um, so we teach uh, people this simple process called, the one page protocol, that is essentially a four step process that if you put all those four things onto one page, uh, you can send cold traffic right to that page. Cold traffic meaning people have no idea who you are. Um, you know, we’re not talking about cheating and using your own email list or your, uh, your podcast list or your social media list, like people that are already predisposed to buy from you. We’re talking about people who have never heard from you, which is the hardest thing to do in business, and if you can do that, um, you have a real business.
Uh, so we show people how to do that as one page. Set up one page that follows a simple process, uh, that convinces random people who have no idea who you are, uh, to buy your product, assuming they’re in your niche and obviously they need your product, or what your product offers.
Um, so yesterday um, we were breaking down this girl Amanda’s pro, uh, her one page and she’s selling a, uh, fitness ebook. Um, she’s a fitness coach. Her goal is to get people paying her one-on-one, uh, couple hundred dollars a month to become their fitness coach remotely. Um, she’s from up in New York. She has people all over the world, ideally that she would love to have them paying her uh, for these monthly, you know, for her to be their kind of monthly coach or consultant on the fitness side of things.
Um, so what she’s doing, her idea is to write an ebook that she then uses this one page system that uh, that we taught, or that we teach uh, in that program, and drive traffic to that page and get people to buy this ebook and build up a massive list of customers that she can then offer her coaching services to. And so, we’re looking at her page. She’s never sold anything online before, and one of the biggest things that I uh, realized, one of the biggest piece of advice uh, that I gave her when we talked um, i, is kind of, a simple mistake that I think a lot of people make and even I used to really under appreciate the impact that this one little tweak can make, and this applies mostly um … I mean, it really applies to anything, so uh, I was gonna say mostly it applies to people with digital products.
I think we’re the ones that forget to do this the most. Um, but the, the concept is, or the, the tip is to have a physical image of your product. Uh, so most people who are selling information products, courses, videos, um, eBooks, stuff like that, um, online training, digital content. We, we don’t really think we need an image of our product, cause h, how can you have an image of something that doesn’t really exist. Can’t hold an information product, can’t hold a digital product. Um, but you, you can make them come to life. You can create 3D covers, you can create magazine images, big box images, DVD images, there’s people, designers all over the place on Fiverr, uh, and 99 Designs, and um, all the other …
You know there’s, tons of outsourced websites where you can find these things and there’s tons, of easy software, like one that I use is called Boxshot. Boxshot 4 I think is the newest one. There’s a bunch of different 3D cover creators. If you just Google that you’ll find one. Um, and if you’re serious about your business, your business, you’ll do what needs to d, you’ll do what you need to, to either learn how to create these images or get them created for yourself.
And here’s why these are so important. We actually ran a split test a little while ago, um, of one of our products, uh, an information product and we tested the page with and without um, really nice 3D cover images that showed the user visually, like, “Look, this is all the stuff you’re gonna get.” Uh, we didn’t just, you know, list ’em out and bullet point everything out, and say, “You know, number one, you’re gonna get an ebook that’s 27 pages, that’s gonna cover A, B, and C.
Next you’re gonna get this video bonus that covers A, B, and C.” We didn’t just have the text. We had the text and we had a picture that represented what that was. So, if it was an ebook or a PDF, we had a picture of a book with the cover, like a design cover with my face on it, with the title of it, um, it was really, you know, well designed, had our color scheme on it. Um, it looked good. If it was a big video course, we either had like a big box, or we had little laptop images with videos on there, just like it would look in real life, if someone’s watching our videos, they’re gonna watch on a laptop or a desktop or their phone or an iPad. So, we would kind of bring that to life.
Um, anyway, and what we did, was tested the one page with those images on it, and one without it, and the page without converted four percent and the page with converted at six percent. Like, that might not sound like a lot, two percentage point increase, but if you think about it, it’s a 50% increase, going from four to six. So, if you back up and say, “Okay, well what does that actually mean in real life,” well, if we drove a thousand visitors, if we bought a Facebook ad and got a thousand visitors, and sent it to the first page, we’d make 40 sales of this 100 dollar product, which would make us about 3880.00 bucks.
If you just take the other page, which the only difference was these 3D covers that were really well done, and that showed everything that they’re gonna get and really brought it to life, now those thousand visitors, instead of mating, making 40 sales, and 3880.00 dollars in revenue, we’d make 60 sales and make 5820.00 dollars in revenue, that’s a difference of 1940.00 dollars. 1940.00 dollars from a thousand clicks. Like, that is a huge difference. I mean, a lot of you, if, if anyone’s ever run Facebook ads, there’s certain, niches where you’re paying three, four dollars a click, so this could literally be the difference, b, like this could be life and death for your business.
The, just this one tweak, getting really well designed ebook covers or video covers. Uh, if you’re selling physical products, get really good pictures of your product, get those little 3D images, or little video. If you have a service, like if you’re, if you mow lawns, get a video, a highlight reel made of you mowing a lawn. It might sound like the dumbest thing ever, but even if it costs you 500 dollars to go find a videographer in your home town, and get an awesome video of you mowing the lawn, or if you’re a web designer, you at your computer, designing, you know a website and the after shot of how good it looks. Bringing your product to life for people just, it changes the game.
Can you imagine Apple promoting the iPhone to all of us and never showing us what it looked like? It would never sell in a million years. Everything we buy, we know what it is before we buy it. Before you buy a car, you don’t just look at it, you get inside it, you test drive it. Uh, every major purchase, like that, um, you, people wanna see it. They wanna feel it. They wanna touch it. They wanna experience it as much as they can, so you can’t shortcut this. If you’re trying to sell something, you’re not really showing people what they’re gonna get and bringing it to life visually, not just mentally by kind of painting a picture with words, show ’em a picture, get something made, and you’ll be happy you did.
Um, again, in the end, it literally can be the difference between like your business working, uh, your product converting and actually selling, and not. Um, so anyway, that’s the lesson for today. Hope that helps, and I’ll talk to you guys later.
